  • No special preparation is required. Comfortable clothing, an open mind and be ready to leave any emotional baggage at the door!

  • You will need to focus on the emotion, how it makes you feel, and where you feel it in your body.

    On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the extreme, how strong is it?

     

  • That’s the beauty of Cognomovement—you don’t have to talk about your feelings! The process works with the body and brain without you having to verbalise anything.

  • Not at all! While it’s great for stress and anxiety. Cognomovement also perfect for help with cravings, phobias, limiting beliefs, anger, grief, and even those frustrating feelings that pop up at the wrong time.

  • I suggest you wear comfortable clothing as we will be throwing a ball.

    Flat shoes are recommended, however I feel it's good to be grounded so feel free to take your shoes off (I'll have mine off!)

  • Whilst I can’t really answer that. Many people find that after releasing their emotional blocks, physical symptoms -such as tension headaches, stress-related pains, or fatigue - have also improved.

  • During the session, most people cry as the emotions are reset. You might feel shifts in your body or experience a sense of lightness. Afterwards, many people report feeling calmer, clearer, or even like a weight has lifted.

  • Absolutely! It’s especially effective for work-related stress, helping you reset emotions that may be holding you back from feeling confident, clear, and in control.

  • Cognomovement is not therapy in the traditional sense. It’s a non-talking approach using movement that helps reset your emotions quickly, without needing to dive into the details of your past

  • The number of sessions depends on the individual and the issues we are addressing. Some people feel a noticeable shift after just one session, while others with underying emotions may benefit from a couple more.

  • I'm always willing to work around you. So, I can provide sessions in the evening or over the weekend if I'm available, otherwise it's normal 9-5 hours.

  • Here's a simple question to ask yourself: -

    "What would you lose if you didn't have this emotion/craving/fear etc. in your life? "

    Some people have never thought about what they may lose. And if you feel you will lose something, then the session may not work for you. So perhaps something to consider.  

  • The outcome for everyone is different. And like other therapies, talking or otherwise, there are no guarantees that Cognomovement will work for you.  

    That said, it's worked for all my clients so far 🤞🏻 except one. And whilst we did shift a number of emotions for that person, there was still something else deep-seated. So on this one occasion I recommended a talking therapy, which did helped.
